It is fun to walk through the park and
visit with the people and see the horses.

Could I get some more information on the trail ride?
What time are the rides taking place? Is there a registration fee??? Where will the rides begin from? Thanks

I like your avatar! The Trail Ride is located at the bottom of Big Stone Lake. sailing

On the portal of this website is the flyer giving more information and a phone number of someone to call if you have other questions.

All the rides start from the campgrounds. happing camping

On Saturday they usually have a trail ride around the bottom of the lake to Big Stone City. I LOVE that horse parade! I think there is also a trail ride to the refuge. In the past I have also seen some riders take their horses to the lake and let them cool off.

There is music and dancing on Friday and Saturday night.

It is a great time and well worth attending. whee

Subject: Trail ride starts out wet. Fri Aug 07, 2009 7:57 am

There were campers out yesterday afternoon already for the Trail Ride.

There was a pretty heavy rain last night and there are puddles swim

(ponds?) in the campground.

Looks like it will be very soggy today. rain1

Hope that doesn't dampen the fun. singing

We decided against camping and will be staying with friends. At least it won't be dusty!!! Destiny
