Grant County Courthouse in Milbank: Community Christmas Tree Display

You are invited to visit the Grant County Courthouse in Milbank SD, during the month of December and view the Christmas trees in the lobby area.

The Grant County Public Library tree will be on display there among many other beautifully decorated threes.

The theme for the Grant County Public Library will be "Books Give You Roots and Wings."

The christmas tree display will be open to the public on Monday, December 1st.

There will be three prizes given for the best displays.

27 people were arrested at a dairy operation near Veblen in northeastern South Dakota, said Tim Counts, spokesman for Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

A three-month South Dakota Highway Patrol investigation led to the arrest of 14 people who are accused of being in the country illegally.

The other 13 people face identity theft charges.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The corn harvest continues to fall behind normal in South Dakota because of wet ground.

The weekly report shows only 59 percent of the corn crop has been harvested. The five-year average for this date is 91 percent.

The Agricultural Statistics Service said much of the corn being harvested has a high moisture content, so it has to be dried at the elevator or on the farm.

Does anyone have a homemade Mac & Cheese recipe that tastes like Kraft?

I was visiting a relative and she had on one of those cooking programs on and there was a chef that said he could make it. He then proceeded to do so and listed all the ingredients. The young boy that was a "pick-eater" tasted it and said it tasted just like the box stuff.

I am allergic to MSG and can't eat the box stuff but would like to be able to make it. Unfortunately I didn't get the recipe. ...

Bundt Coffee Cake

1 yellow cake mix

1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding

3/4 c. oil

3/4 c. water

1 tsp. vanilla

4 eggs

1/2 c. pecans

Strudel

1 c. sugar

1/2 c. pecans

2 tsp. Cinnamon
